Biography

Radhika Pandit was born on 7th March in Bangalore, Karnataka. She attended Cluny Convent High School and Mount Carmel College, both in Bangalore. Radhika started her career in TV shows and acted in Nandagokula and Sumangali serials before entering films.

Her Kannada film debut was with Moggina Manasu (2008) opposite Shubha Poonja, Sangeetha Shetty, and Yash. The film turned out to be a huge commercial hit considering its budget, and she received her first Filmfare Best Actress award for her performance.

Her second Kannada film Love Guru (2009) opposite Tarun Chandra and Dilip Raj was also a hit, and she won her second Filmfare Best Actress award. Her third film Krishnan Love Story (2010) starring Ajay Rao, Umashri, and Sharan became a blockbuster hit, earning her third consecutive Filmfare Best Actress award. Currently, she holds the record of winning Filmfare Awards back to back for three years in a row.

Radhika Pandit has worked with major Kannada stars like Shivrajkumar, Puneet Rajkumar, Yogesh, and Yash. Her on-screen pairing with Yash was especially popular and later translated into a real-life relationship.

Radhika Pandit was born into a Konkani Saraswat Brahmin family to Krishnaprasad Pandit and Mangala. Her family has always supported her education and acting career.

Radhika Pandit is married to Kannada Superstar Yash, popularly known as Rocking Star Yash. The couple met during their early acting careers and worked together in films like Moggina Manasu and Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari, which became major hits.
